
The fake email messages below, which claim that the recipients will received checks worth millions of dollars that were written by Mrs. Michelle Obama, the First Lady of the United States, is a phishing scam. The fake email messages were created by scammers to trick potential victims into sending them their personal information. Every month, thousands of these email messages are sent out by scammers/cybercriminals to trick their potential victims into stealing their personal and financial information, which the same scammers will use afterwards, to trick the recipients into sending them their money, financial information or online account credentials.
