The email message below: "Reference:-Customer ID:87465362, Case File No PQ - 221254- Lawsuit," which appears as if it came from the law firm: United States Law Firm Group, claiming there are pending legal actions or a lawsuit against the recipients, is a fake sent by scammers. Scammers are sending the same fake email message with the names of different law firms that have nothing to do with the fake email messages. Scammers use legitimate law firms in their fake email messages to make their scams seem legitimate, to help frighten their potential victims into following the instructions in the same bogus email messages. The scammers’ aim is to trick their potential victims into sending them money by pretending to be debt collectors.
