The email message below, which claims that the recipients will be compensated for millions of dollars by the International Monetary Funds (IMF) in conjunction with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Nigeria because they are scam victims, is a scam. The fraudulent email message was sent by scammers to trick their potential victims into sending them their personal information, which the scammers will use to contact the same potential victims, in an attempt to scam them.
