Scammers are sending out fake email messages, which claim that Tesco, a British multinational grocery and general merchandise retailer, is giving away £500 grocery gift cards or shopping vouchers. The links in the fake email messages will take potential victims to the following fake and deceptive websites: “www.vip-winners .eu” and “www.winalert.co .uk.” The two fake and deceptive websites were created by scammers and should never be visited, because both websites use the £500 grocery gift cards or shopping vouchers as bait, to lure potential victims to them, in attempt to trick them into signing up for premium mobile phone services and other premium services that they will be charged for weekly.
