
The email message below, which claims that the sender is looking to invest her inheritance in the recipients, is a Nigerian “419" scam. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank accounts. But, victims never receive this non-existent fortune and are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous.
