The email message below: "We are glad to inform you that you have won the sum of £1,000,000GBP" is a lottery scam and was designed to trick the recipients into sending their personal information and money, by claiming that they were electronically selected as a winner in this year's annual draw via directories with Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo.
